About This Lesson
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medicine Safety is a free, multimedia educational program designed for grades 5-8 and their families to learn about the safe use, storage, and disposal of OTC medicines. This program now includes engaging Spanish-language videos and an exciting new OTC Bonus Trivia game, enhancing learning and interaction. The kit, tailored for grades 5-6 and 7-8, provides resources such as a lesson plan, student activity sheet, a classroom poster, and family letters in both English and Spanish, all encouraging responsible behavior before young people start self-medicating.
