About This Lesson
In this culminating task, the student will become a Time Storyteller, a literary explorer tasked with collecting powerful voices, values, and lessons from across time to guide future civilizations. Drawing inspiration from The Time Machine and building on their knowledge of literature, language, and global issues, they will create a literary portfolio that reimagines the future by honoring the past.
This task encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. They will complete a series of imaginative and analytical writing tasks that explore justice, sustainability, and identity through different formats. These final products will be compiled into a class anthology titled Voices Across Time and presented in a celebratory exhibition or gallery walk.
